Youth Ambassador Program : 

…Scouts promoting "Culture and International Scouting" from all over the world !!!


Helping Scouts to understand other cultures around the world by reading, visiting Embassies and residences, taking pictures, playing…in one phrase: HAVING FUN! 


Traveling with a Scout Passport


Where:          DC Embassies Open Houses and other venues

Who:              Used by all Scouts

When:            Open Embassy days are May 2 and May 9, 2015 - See below for details.

Photo:            Scout in Uniform (shall be placed in each passport)

Information:  Only BSA reference (to be returned if found)

Cost:              $10.00 for a patch and BSA Passport


Passport will be included while supplies last. (First 1000, a $10 value)



Choice " Delivery by mail"

Will be received from Leaders only.

Will be delivery by mail within 5 days of order. Allow order 2 weeks to arrive.                 


Choice "Council Pickup"

Can be picked up from Council for immediate fulfillment, avoid mail charges & lost patches.

From Passport DC site: Participants travel the world as they experience the food, art, dance, fashion, music, innovations, and manufactured goods from different countries. More than 50 embassies opened their doors to visitors in prior years, allowing guests to pet alpacas, play with robots, learn indigenous dances, and more! Come see the world through the embassies of missions of our global neighbors.

Saturday, May 9, 2015 - "Shortcut to Europe: European Union Embassies' Open House"

From Passport DC site: Visitors to the European Union (EU) Delegation and the embassies of the EU member states will enjoy the authentic music, dance, food, film, and art of 28 distinctive nations. Guests may sip tea at the British Embassy or get a henna tattoo in the Turkish Embassy. Previous participants in the embassy open houses include Croatia, Denmark,Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Austria, Cyprus,Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain,Belgium, the Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden.
